Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Sunset Service

The U.S. military co-hosted the 76th commemoration to provide veterans, family members, service members and the community a chance to honor the sacrifices made by those who were present Dec. 7, 1941.
The battleship USS Utah lies capsized and burning as the cruiser USS Raleigh lists in the background at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Dec. 7, 1941. The Utah was struck by two torpedoes in the first minutes of the attack and quickly capsized. The Raleigh, struck by a torpedo, stayed afloat but was heavily damaged.
